The risk is Level 1 as of 8/18/16** Alert Level 2, Practice Enhanced Precautions Updated Ebola in Nigeria Updated August 20, 2014 The purpose of this alert is to notify travelers of the Ebola outbreak in Nigeria and to inform them of measures they can take to minimize their risks of contracting the disease. CDC recommends that travelers to Nigeria protect themselves by avoiding contact with the blood and body fluids of people who are ill with Ebola.
