Talk about SWEET! This dish may belong on the table with all the other savory food, but it'll definitely satisfy your sweet tooth this Thanksgiving. It's also incredibly easy and quick. Give it a whirl. Enjoy! Note: This only makes about 4 servings. Ingredients: 2 sweet potatoes, diced 1/4 tsp cinnamon 3 tbsp brown sugar 1 cup mini marshmallows 1/3-2/3 cup heavy whipping cream (as needed) Directions: Boil sweet potatoes until soft. November: American Diabetes Month
November is American Diabetes Month. While many people have heard of diabetes, not everyone has a good understanding of what the disease actually does to the body. The American Diabetes Association defines diabetes as a problem with your body that causes blood glucose levels to rise higher than normal. (Glucose is a simple sugar that the body produces by breaking down sugars and starches that you eat.) The American Diabetes Association is once again trying to wake up America!

October: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But what is cancer? How does it form? Cancer forms when the DNA – the basic building blocks of cells – in a healthy cell becomes damaged. This causes the mutated cell to begin created more damaged cells at a rapid rate, forming lumps, growths, or tumors. Breast cancer, in particular, usually begins in the lobules or milk ducts. Sometimes, though less often, breast cancer can begin in the stromal tissue. This is the fatty and
