How do you screen for quality caregivers?
We only hire caregivers with a minimum of one year of experience within the last three years. Many of our caregivers have many years of experience from which to draw. Many of our caregivers have worked with CareStaf for a long time. We consider ourselves lucky to have so many quality caregivers on our staff.
May I choose the caregivers that come to my home?
CareStaf carefully screens all of its caregivers to make sure they offer the highest level of comfort to you and your loved one. We wanted you to be involved and we welcome your input. If at any time you or your loved one would like a different caregiver, we will do our best to accomodate your request as quickly as possible.
How many caregivers will care for my loved one?
At CareStaf we strive to find one caregiver to care for your loved one. However, depending on the number of hours per day and the number of days per week, that may not be possible. In the case of 24/7 coverage, we find the least number of caregivers possible and strive to keep their schedule the same from week to week and month to month.
Are caregivers allowed to assist with medications?
